Most of the women Komonil works with are severely isolated. Custom restricts speaking with men outside the family. Family feuds and gossip restrict speaking with women outside it. Komonil has lost team members who would not work alongside someone else.
It took two years to get a group to open up to one another. They now joke, laugh and work together — and every economic figure above this line runs through that change.
